Joel Schlessinger MD’s son, Daniel, featured as one of the top four entrepreneurs under 20
Daniel Schlessinger, son of Joel Schlessinger, was recently featured in an article on OpenForum.com entitled “Young and Restless: 4 Entrepreneurs Under Age 20.” In this article, Daniel is featured for the invention of the FixMySkin Healing Balms.

In 2007, 12-year-old Daniel Schlessinger tried to soothe his cracked hands and fingers with lip balm. When it didn’t work to soothe them like he had hoped, he began researching the right product to properly heal dry, cracked skin.

Two years later, with the help of Joel Schlessinger and Daniel’s grandfather, Bernie, Daniel was able to approach chemists about a possible balm treatment that would contain hydrocortisone yet would remain solid at high temperatures.

Today, the product is called the FixMySkin Healing Balms and they are appearing in physician’s offices across the United States. The balms come in both an unflavored and a vanilla variety and they are also available for lips, face and body. Purchase your FixMySkin Healing Balms here.

With the help of Joel Schlessinger, Daniel has turned his idea into a profitable and effective solution to skin dryness.
